We want to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. We will send you emails relating to your personal transactions or containing information that concerns your account. We will keep these emails to a minimum. You may also receive certain email notifications (ex. account status updates), alerts (ex. reminders about essential student loan deadlines), and a newsletter, from which you may opt out of by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, or by logging into your account and unchecking the "Send me Email" option, (found in "Account settings", once logged in). On the rare occasions when it is necessary to do so, we may send you service-related announcements.

Your bank login credentials for the Unified Application are stored securely in a separate database using multi-layered hardware and software encryption. When storing a student’s credentials for the lender’s or servicer’s websites, Alltuition encrypts the password and the answers to the user’s personal identity verification questions.

3. Changes to Our Policy

Alltuition reserves the right to update this privacy policy at any time. If we decide to use your information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify you via email. You may choose whether or not we may use such information in this manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect your information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on the Website notifying you of the change. In some cases when we post such notice, we may also email you to notify you of the changes to this Policy.

4. The information we collect

A. Personal Information

At the Website, you may be able to request information or register and save your information for later reference. We will use the information you provide in Fundraisers only to complete your donation and to provide you with tools to manage and monitor your transactions. When you make a donation to a Fundraiser page listed on the Website, you grant us permission to access your donation records at any time. We will make available to your selected Fundraiser online reports identifying, where available, the name, address, email, and transaction accounting details of the donation. If you choose to make your donation anonymously, we will share only the donation amount on the webpage but the donee will always know the email address and name associated with the PayPal account. Alltuition will not share your personal information, donation activity, or email address with any third party without your prior written consent. We will use your contact information to send you information concerning your donation, including without limitation a donation confirmation and any notices about problems with your credit card.

7a. Voluntary Disclosure - Fundraisers

If you choose to create a Fundraisers account with us, you will be asked to select a username and password. We will ask you to provide personal information including your first name, last name, and email address when you create your Fundraisers page. Once your Fundraisers page is created, it will become publicly available. You may cancel and take down your Fundraisers page at any time via your profile settings. You may post information, such as comments, videos, images, and other content (“Materials”) to the Website. Any Materials you post to the Website may be viewable by the general public and are governed by our Terms of Use.

Except as otherwise indicated in this Policy, we will only supply your Personal Information to a third party with your consent. In these cases, you will be given the option to opt in or opt out based upon information disclosed at the time your information is collected. If you do not opt in, or you opt out, your information will not be disclosed. On this Website, when you provide us with an email address for a referral, we will share your name and email address as well as the recipient’s email address with a third party as necessary in order to provide this referral service. This information will not be used for any other purpose. If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our Website, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Website. This third party stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program. We will not knowingly permit persons under the age of 18 to provide information to us through Alltuition Fundraisers. If we later learn that any user is under the age of 18, we will take appropriate steps to remove that user’s information from the database and restrict that user’s access to Alltuition Fundraisers.
